Christ the warrior

Is Jesus a warrior, a fighter? Well let’s take a look.  In Exodus we read, "The Lord is a Warrior; the Lord is His name." When we think of Jesus we think of a mild mannered Man, healing the sick, children sitting at His feet, a shepherd with a flock of sheep all about. But what about the warrior Jesus? The man who in righteous anger turned over tables in His Father’s house. Jesus was created, as all men are, in God’s image. A warrior not a divine doormat. Now consider this image as described by John in the book of Revelation, "I saw Heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose Rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows but Himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. On His robe and on His thigh He has written this name King of Kings and Lord of Lords.”

So is Jesus a warrior????? Are we who are made in His image warriors??? I say as Christian men we are called to be Anointed Fighters (Anointed Warriors if you will) 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight I have finished the race I have kept the faith.” Christ Kune Do is intended to build on this principle, to teach men, women, boys, and girls to become fully devoted followers of Christ, to become an Anointed Warriors for Christ Jesus.
